I think this place was pretty decent for the area and what I saw thru the rest of the city. I liked all the beers I tried, nothing blow your mind but all very respecable for their styles. Our waitress was very pleasent and helpful with the menu as they have no English menus. The beer menu on the wall was detailed regading what kind of glassware you would receive the beer in and the price for each size and each beer. The waitress even stopped to make sure we understood what we would be receiving which is great if you werent expecing to get a tulip glass for $7.

The food we ordered was appetizers only but pretty good. The brie with maple was great.

I reccomend going on off hours though, we were there around noon to 2PM. Later that day it was extremely packed and loud on both nights (Friday and Saturday so its probably to be expected.)

Overall I dont think this place should be bashed, if you are looking for a good beer selection theres not much else in walking distance of this quality.

They have a bible of beers, that includes some really good stuff. Found Innis and Gunn here...when it was somewhat hard to find in Quebec. It was quite pricy at $10.00 per bottle, but well worth it when you factor in that it costs $3.55 at the SAQ. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a beer they cannot regularly find in the city.
