This location is about five minutes off of Purdue's campus at the intersection of Northwestern and Lindberg. If you're coming in for a Purdue game off of 52, you'll see it on your left at the intersection just after the sign that points in the direction of Ross Ade stadium. This store features a good amount of windows devoted to both craft and BMC. It's a good place to go for Founders and Bell's releases. They seem to have them longer than the other Village Bottle Shoppes. They also had Poppaskull longer than anyone around too. They've also got a rack devoted to Boulevard and have Three Floyd's in stock most of the time. It's yet another good VBS.

This bottle shoppe is located on Lineberg and Northwestern, right where smitty's grocery store used to be. I'd rank this the third best beer selection of the four stellar village bottle shoppes. Great selection of Boulevard beers (probably the most in town) like the saison, quad, tripel, double wide, and they even had the bourbon barrel aged quad for a bit. you can find very hard to come by czeck and german beers as well. Special releases come here often. I've picked up bells oracle, founders nemesis, harvest, and Kentucky breakfast stout when the other shoppes run out. Lafayette is always running out of Three floyds alpha king and gumballhead quite often, but this place seems to keep it in stock. General Manager Steve is a great guy and will talk to you all day if you have the time. all in all another great store from village bottle shoppe inc.

Stopped by this store out of boredom on a saturday afternoon. They have an interesting selection of german beers, dunkle weiss, hefe's, etc. I talked with the manager for a bit. He is a rather eccentric person that would seem more at home in the backwoods with a banjo instead of at a liquor store. anyhoo, he said he lived in germany for a bit and that kind of explained the biased towards the german selection. The store is mostly college based but does carry an ok selection of singles and six packs. They had a few gems (old kbs, 4 packs of nemesis, and some old hoppin frog hoppin to heaven) as well as a decent selection of founders, bells, and SN. Overall, the store had the atmosphere of college town. Everyone in line looked young while carrying their cubes of BMC to what would probably be a bitchin' frat party. They are making an effort to provide quality micro's. Worth stoppin by but not the best VBS in town

Not my favorite VBS in town but it still has a nice craft selection. If you manage to wind all the way into the back of the store they have several coolers stocked with singles and packs of craft beer. They have a good selection of both domestic and imported beer from mainly the Midwest breweries. Even some hard to finds pop up in this place from time to time. Picked up my Nemesis there. Although I would still recommend VBS 1 and VBS 2 over this one (4), if you are on Northwestern and your a little thirsty stop in and check it out.

Ran into this place almost on accident. My initial tour of Purdue and Lafayette was a bit of a whirlwind, and while I did get to stop into a few places I don't think I got enough of a feel for each of them to write a proper review. But this VBS was tiny, easily digested, and I think I was able to appraise it appropriately. And it was impressive.

It was impressive not because its selection was large or its staff was hugely knowledgeable or anything like that. It was impressive because it was small, the kind of liquor store you'd see in a strip mall around Chicago--the same vibe with bright neon lights, canned music, tiredly polite clerks, and little plastic fisbhbowls full of tiny bottles of booze up near the register. In most areas, the best beers you'll find in joints like this are Guinness and Harp. Here, the selection wasn't deep but goodness it was wide: Magic Hat, Three Floyds, Stone, Bells, and Founders. All just sitting there, right off campus, right alongside the massive selection of malt liquors and Mike's Hards.

It's a good sign when the collegetown-area, tossoff liquor stores have a respectable selection of beer at decent prices. It's a damn good sign.

One of the Village Bottle Shoppe's satellite locations. As expected, the selection here is not a good as the main store on Sagamore Parkway, but it is still good and much closer to campus.

When you enter the store, craft beer is off to the right. Some warm selections are available in the aisles, but the majority of stuff is cold. 2 or 3 doors on the right hand side and 2 doros of singles availe on the right/back wall.

Customer service is friendly, not sure of beer knowledge. I have a list of breweries I saw at my last visit there and will edit it in when I get back home.

Edit: Beers normally available at this VBS.
