This is a tiny establishment off the artery of 17th St., and from the street view all you can see is "Liquor", no Baycrest, so it can be missed. The inside is a bit unorganized, and there was a mild strench in the air, but all the beer was kept in refrigerators. The beer selection is fine, mostly made-up of Belgains and California beer. Here, you can find Moylan's, Ballast Point, Rogue, Samuel Smiths, Delirum Nocturum, Leffe, and others. They even still had winter release brews sitting around in May, such as Double Bastard and Corsedonk Winter Beer. I walked to the checkstand with Moylan's Hopsickle, Wahoo Wheat, and Marin Brewing Irish Red. Althouygh there was only one clerk, he was talking beer when he checked me out, queuing me on Double IPA's I had tried when he rung up the Hopsickle. I walked out a satisfied customer.

Located in a fairly large strip mall off of 17th St., Baycrest has the look and feel of any corner liquor store. The beer is all refrigerated and to the back. Solid selection, very much US dominated, I saw very few imports aside from the big guys. Saw lots of Stone and they had a whole row of their speciality collaborations. They had a very good selection of The Bruery and Bootlegger's (probably the best I've seen in the tri-city area and better than Hi-Times for the Fullerton brewery). They have a small singles area, saw some that 2010 Celebration was cool. Overall though the selection is nothing special for a beer store per se. Service was fine, the lone cashier rung me up quickly. The fact that it's so close (1/2 mile at most) to Hi-Times, means that store will overshadow it, but drop in, you might luck out and find something Hi-Times doesn't have.
