Bottled 9 Jan 14

Pours golden with 2 fingers of pearl white head. Stellar head retention & lacing

S: Grass, floral notes & both fade over time

T: Follows the nose, orange peel & lemons up front. Lovely bready notes as this warms, a touch of grapefruit & lemongrass too. Finishes with a little bready sweetness, grapefruit & lemons & a touch of herbal hops, plus dryness

MF: Medium bodied with firm carbonation, good balance

Drinks easy, not as good as All Day, but a suitable substitute

12 ounce bottle

Pours typical almond amber, under a light khaki head. leaves moderate fine lace.

Hops on the nose, grainy and some pine.

Moderate hop punch, again with notes of pine and resin

Medium bodied and carbonation on point.

Respectable, but not outstanding IPA

The Lasso IPA is a decent offering from Great Divide. The beer pours a clear golden color with nice white head that is leaving a lace. The scent carries some bitter fresh hops. The taste leans toward bitter but there is some sweeter malt to help balance the beer. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall a solid beer and would drink it again if given the chance.
