Pours a translucent amber to mahogany. White, two-finger, creamy head. Thick lacing.
Very fragrant aroma. Pineapple and orange. Not huge, but very sweet and deliciously tempting.
Tropical, citric taste with a big toasty, caramel malt finish. This is not like many recent IPAs that approach doubles/imperials. But this is an excellent presentation of hops in a single. Bright, lush tropical fruit and floral flavors with a traditional malt follow-through.
This is an excellent session IPA. The hops are more like the sweet, citric flavors in west coast IPAs but it's immensely drinkable. Four of these in a night--no problem.
