12 fl oz bottle served in a pint glass:

A - Pours a murky burnt orange color with a 1 finger head of no cream. Both retention and lacing are sub-par.

S - Much sweeter than I had expected. Caramel, perfume, some citrus, and a faint alcohol nose. Medium strength.

T - Toasted malt foundation leads to grapefruit . Biscuity almost, which surprised me. Very well balanced. There's a mild hop bitterness throughout, but it's quite subdued.

M - much thicker than expected. Quite smooth and wet.

D - I, personally, enjoy this beer quite a bit. However, it may disappoint true fans of the style as the hops characters are quite subdued. It deviates from the style, but is good nonetheless.
