Great Divide Titan IPA is a quality IPA that has many of the qualities of a DIPA.

A: Orange colour and a good 1 cm head that fades to some good lacing. 4.5

S: Piney hops with some hints of citrus. Yum. 4.5

T: Malty and quite sweet with grassy hops. There is a weird, bitter dusty flavour there too. The bitterness doesn't build much at all. 4

M: Slightly syrupy. Big. 4.5

O: 4.5

pours a cloudy copper with a finger of off white head that fades rather quickly and leaves very little lacing. smell and taste are pretty much the same. like smelling a fresh cut christmas tree and then being able to taste said tree. if you like pine this is for you. unfortunatly for me i prefer grapefruit over pine. other than that not a bad beer. has a good malt balance and a medium body with good carbonation.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass

Pours a cloudy orange color with a half finger of foam that fades pretty quickly. Aroma is super hoppy. Pine and grapefruit dominate.

First sip is quite hoppy. Flavor blast of piney hop goodness. Pretty unbalanced hoppy, which I think is a nice feature in an IPA. Deep lasting bitterness as well.

I really enjoy this IPA - it really smacks you hard with a delicious rush of hops. This is what a good IPA should taste like.

A - Copper orange thick poor with thin creamy white head. Nice lacing.

S - Malty and Piney smell.

T - Big aggressive hop character to begin with. Smacks you in the mouth. Finishes with sweet malty that brings together a nicely balanced IPA.

O - For all the hype this brew received, it still delivered with a bang. One smack you in the mouth man ball IPA. Aggressive hops, yet nicely balanced with the malty finish.

Beautiful color - a cloudy orange. Looks delicious.

Smells of citrus and pine hops. Not overpowering, though. Supported by caramel malts.

Taste is a bit underwhelming. Pale malts come through a bit too strong, with an unbalanced hop profile - too little flavoring. Peculiar spices revealed intermittently.

Although the taste is a little disappointing, this beer feels great. Wonderful texture - a medium body.

I was really excited to try this brew and found myself disappointed. The taste was just too much of a drawback.

Appearance: Poured a hazy orange amber color with a fluffy cream colored head.

Smell: Floral, Piney, some orange citrus and caramel malt

Taste: Pine hop bitterness, caramel malt as well, sweet fruit at the beginning and I got some floral flavors as it warmed up

Mouth feel: Smooth, well carbonated, medium bodied, the flavors blend well and it has a slight bitter aftertaste

Overall: Good solid beer, lots of flavors that blend well. Each flavor holds its own but were not overstated. Great IPA from Great Divide.

Poured into a standard pint glass, great copper color, translucent, light carbonation.

Smell is light caramel malt, with nice hop balance, notes of citrus and pine.

Taste is mix of caramel and pale malt quickly covered by the mix of citrus and pine hops, touch of resiny, earthy flavor.

Mouthfeel is very good for an ipa, solid strong flavors that present well on the tongue and throughout, but yet are not overpowering.

Overall, very nicely done IPA, very solid mouthfeel and flavor profile, nothing overdone or overpowering.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a white head that nicely laces the glass. Aromas are hop-forward, with a lot of citrus, unripened pineapple, and floral notes, but all more subdued than those of my favorite IPAs. Raw impressions from the first sip: this beer has a good taste, outstanding texture, and great drinkability. It's hoppy but doesn't club you over the head with bitterness. A light caramel and sourdough maltiness helps balance the sweet to bitter ratio. Finishes dry, with a lot of orange peel lingering. Has a smooth feel, with ultra fine carbonation that delivers a firestorm of sensory delights with even the smallest sips. Drinks very well all on its own, and goes well with all sorts of pub grub and garlicky dishes.
