I wasn't thinking of reviewing this but then I saw that, out of thousands of reviews, only one was in growler form. So hey, why not...

Titan, 64-oz growler filled at Brew York City-Duane Reade on 72nd and Broadway in NYC for $8.99.

Appearance: Served in a regular pint, my assertive pour produces a good two-finger head that goes down and dies rather quickly. Retention, carbonation and lacing are rather average. Color is a nice deep-copper/caramel, transparent.

Smell: A bit of fresh pine, soap, dry flowers. Clover, spice and a caramel-y finish with a tad of honey.

Taste: Follows nose, with the caramel being more pronounced and the addition of a sizable malt base as well. Hops are not really the biggest star of this brew, for good or bad. Butterscotch and brown butter at the end. Toasted bread, cookie dough.

Mouthfeel: Average carbonation, medium body and flavor. Not too dry (I can drink this without beer) .

Overall: It drinks beautiful (I could have a whole growler of this in one evening) but not very exciting. A session IPA, I guess? The growler doesn't help... was a little under-carbonated. There are many IPA's out there I like better, but I also remember this being more exciting on tap at my local bar.
