Poured into a Pint Glass
Appearance - Pitch black, so black that I can see myself in the reflection of the glass. Very Fluffy Dark Brown 3 Finger Head with excellent retention, and it looks really creamy. The lacing along the sides of the glass is very plentiful and abundant.
Smell - Sweet Chocolate, Piney Hops, Coffee, Caramel, Burnt Malts, all of which have a strong aroma to it. It's also worth noting that for an Imperial Stout, this smells surprisingly hoppy compared to the others which I have had before.
Taste - Chocolate, Coffee, Hops, Roasted Malts, Vanilla, and Burnt Malts. This is a very malty and sweet tasting Imperial Stout and I love it. My only complaint is that the aftertaste is a bit too resiny for my tastes; Everything else is excellent
Mouthfeel - Surprisingly Light albeit a bit syrupy, which makes it feel off for it's style. Luckily the carbonation is light so you can be sure that nothing will get in the way of the flavor and that it is easy to drink.
Overall - This is an excellent Imperial Stout, even with it's minor flaws which are easy to overlook. I'm very eager to get my hands on the other Yeti offerings from Great Divide, because I know if they are anything like this, then I know I'm in for a treat.

Served on tap in a chalice glass
Appearance – The beer is served a deep-deep brown nearly black color with a one finger head of brown foam. The head holds on strong, slowly fading to leave a fantastic level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is a big, roasty, and sweet with a nice roasted malt smell mixed with plenty of milk chocolate, brown sugar, and some caramel. Along with these aromas comes some smells of coffee, bourbon and an earthy hop giving a heavy and nicely roasty aroma overall.
Taste- A big sweet roasted malt and chocolate flavor greets the tongue. This is accompanied by flavors of vanilla and caramel mixed within. As the taste advances coffee starts working its way in, with it beginning lighter and really gaining strength toward the end of the taste. Along with the coffee comes some boozy flavors with some smoke mixed within, melding very well with an increase in the roasted flavors of the brew. More booziness and sweetness (with hints of vanilla) hits the tongue at the end of the taste and with the now somewhat stronger coffee flavor, the robust roast and the sweeter chocolate flavors of the brew ends up leaving a thick and warming taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is quite thick and creamy with a carbonation level that is slightly on the lower side. Both the thick-creamy body and the low carbonation are fantastic for the big, warming and boozy roasted flavors of the brew, making a great slow sipper.
Overall – A very tasty Russian imperial with a big sweet and boozed roasted flavor.

Pours a nice, firm dark brown head with excellent retention and sticky lacing. Beer is dark black with purple highlights.
Roast barley, a hint of coffee and dark cacao, and a slight bit of dark, overripe fruit dominate the nose. A bit of cream as well.
Waves of roasted barley wash over the mouth, carrying hints of cream and a not insignificant metallic taste. The barley is dominant; the metallic flavor is unwanted.
Full, thick mouthfeel; not quite chewy. Sticky finish. Alcohol is noticeable.
This is an enjoyable stout, but it's simply not up there with the best of them.
