Appearance: Dense black with a moderate and nice tan head. Good lacing.
Smell: Great coffee is about all I smell on the first whiff. Followed up with coco and little bit of booze.
Taste: The initial taste is great. Lots of bitter coffee, cinnamon and coco. Unfortunately, I'm getting a weird saccharin/coffee breath after taste that is a little bit of turn off.
Mouthfeel: Good mouth feel with prickily carbonation. Not at all viscous or syrupy.
Drinkability: Definitely a more drinkable imperial stout.
This is the second bottle I 've had in a week. Both times I was turned off by the after taste. All other aspects of the beer are great.
