pours ink black with a 4 finger plus choclate colored foamy head. Very good head retention and insane lacing
Smell: Malt, sweetness, licorice and choclate
Taste: Vinous character, with hops, bitter choclate, coffee, and slight rye taste (i dig that). Hop and grain bitterness, dryness and alcohol in the finish
MF: Super chewy, excellent carbonation
A little to chewy to do more than one, but well worth the struggle. Not a lawnmower brew by any means!
Nice cocklewarmer. Another winner from great divide. Spring is fast approaching here, will soon be too warm for these monsters. Catch em before he retreats to the highground! Can't wait to try the oakaged version
