Appearance: black with a thin, brown head.
Smell: light chocolate. Faint raisin. Light roasted barley.
Taste: chocolate. Coffee. Alcohol. Light roasted barley. Medium hop bitterness.

Poured from a bottle with a bottled on date of 7/14/14; into a snifter.
Appearance - pours thick and black and sits in the glass like the dark side of the moon! A chocolate ice cream brown head starts off thick, but quickly dissipates to a thin layer. Lacing is sticky and plentiful!
Smell - creamy dark and milk chocolate, blended with robust coffee and mocha!
Taste - very bold coffee flavors with an excellent touch of dark chocolate!
Feel - heavy, but the 9.5% ABV is hard to detect; excellent balance between roasted malt characters and bitterness from the hops that make this complex brew feel like a gourmet coffee!
Overall - I am revisiting this after a year or more, and as my palate has matured, my appreciation for the original Yeti is growing!
