One of my favorite Imperial Stouts and one of the easiest to drink too. The aroma has a nice roasted malt and coffee smell.

Coffee, chocolate and roasted malts dominate the taste, but there is a creamy and smooth texture that compliments the slight sweetness well. For being such a big beer, it's surprisingly not heavy.

Poured from bottle into pint glass. Pours a jet black color - oil looking, very slight tan head.
Smells of intense roasted coffee malts. Taste is of bitter roasted coffee and malts. Slightly sweet notes, like chocolate or dried/candied fruit, and slight hops.
Slightly bitter mouthfeel, but very easy to drink.
Overall its a great and enjoyable brew. A bit overly sweet...and bitter for my palate, but very enjoyable nonetheless.
I have my eye on the espresso yeti and think it would be great.

Haven't had many Great Divide brews yet so I have to beg steal and borrow to drink any!

Poured into a snifter with a thin brown head. Smells of cocoa and coffee. Can't wait to take a sip! Oh boy this one is smooth on the mouth and has a slight bitterness in the back but really easy to drink. Leaves a lingering espresso type taste long after each drink unlike other RIS I have drank. I like that. It's different but I really like this one. Can't wait to try the Oak Aged bomber that I picked up at the same time.

Cheers!
