A: into a tulip, jet black pour produced jet black beer with a dark brown head a couple of fingers thick; lace sheets lined the glass
S: dark cocoa chocolate malts and roasted espresso
T: here is where the Yeti distnguishes itself - aside from the typical stout flavors that follow the nose above (espresso, chocolate), there is a smokiness, and dare I say, almost the taste of roasted meat - almost like the beer was aged along with smoked meats - an almost umami flavor. Not too sweet, somewhat dry.
M: fuyll bodied, coating, smoky, smooth, mellow, chalky
O: a really good stout, full of flavor and depth, ideal for winter drinking and firesides. It falls into that category of stouts that you really have to have at least once if you're able (BCBS, Founders, and AleSmith's stouts are peer). Good drinking.
