A- Enjoyed in a nice crystal snifter. Pleasant copperish color. Medium
carbonation with tiny bubbles forming a thin head giving way to a
lacing that lasts throughout the beer.
S- I smell roasted figs, dark raisins and butterscotch. There are small
hints of boozy vanilla.
T- Taste is simillar to smell in the way of sweet roasted fruits and candy.
The abv is there but compliments the abundant malt, keeping in
mind that this beer is new and fresh.
M- Carbonation is in perfect harmony with sweetness. Has a wonderful
dry/bitter finish that fades slowly.
O- This brew has all of qualities you would look for in this style. I find
it close to Old Curmudeon wich is one of my favorites. For a fresh batch, I think it's
delicious and would have a hard time holding some back now that the cooler
weather has arrived.
