A - dark, dark brown/black. head is approximately 1/8". nice asymmetrical lacing resides after head has faded. deep amber areas around the edge of glass (i used a tulip) when held to light.
S - has a strong, malty smell; also slightly sweet and lightly toasted.
T - this is going to sound really strange, but it tastes like sweetened cheerios - which, is completely amazing. Higher ABV leaves a residual alcohol taste that is complimentary to initial sweetness.
M - punctuated by a light bitterness to give it a clean finish.
O - wonderful ale to sip on as temperatures start to drop.
