Poured from 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: red-hued amber with a very slightly pink-tinged one-finger white head. Not bad.
Smell: actually a quite nice malt aroma mixed with a little raspberry jam. Unlike some other fruit beers, this doesn't smell artificial.
Taste: quite dry, which I appreciate in a fruit beer. There's just a nice raspberry tinge to what is otherwise a basic low-hop pale ale. There is also a little tartness to it, which is both good and bad in ways.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body, but with a nice level of carbonation.
Drinkability: pretty drinkable, but it is rather one-note; I don't think I'd have more than one of these in a row.
