Appearance: Pours a clear, dark golden/amber. Lots of frothy off-white head and good retention. Nice lacing too.
Smell: Very malty and sweet, molasses like. Not real hoppy in the nose, a little citrusy.
Taste/Feel: Deep malt backbone, a little buttery. Hops come out more upon warming, really changes the profile to back up the malt. Bitterness is clean and refreshing. Nothing too wild, just a good Pale Ale. Full bodied, carbonation is light.
Drinkability: I'd have another, wouldn't mind watching some football with a couple of these.
