A- 4 An aggressive pour gave this a big two finger fluffy head. It's made up of large but uniform bubbles, and settles to what looks like a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The head is just off-white in color and sits atop an active, bubbly golden body.
S- 2.5 There isn't much of anything going on in the nose except perhaps a little bit of malted grain. There's a metallic edge to this that cuts it hard. Hops are minimally detectable.
T- 3.5 This brew tastes better than its aroma indicated. It is definitely malt heavy as coats the mouth but there's a moderate hop presence that gives it a nice touch. Unfortunately I sometimes get a plastic-like aftertaste that lingers around and is off-putting.
M- 4 This is a good feeling brew; it's medium in body and smooth and creamy with a moderate carbonation level.
D- 3.5 I'm glad I gave this single a shot, but I don't think I'd buy it again. OK overall, but nothing all that exciting. It was kind of bland. If I preferred the flavor a little more I could drink plenty based on its smoothness alone (and it isn't heavy, either). I'd like to try some other Great Divide products nonetheless.
