Pours a pale, attractive looking gold. Large white fluffy head. Thanks to a generous JCB.
Smells faintly of pine and a bit of toasted caramel. Not much aroma, really.
Taste is light pine, that toasted caramel is a bit more prominent in the flavor, a biting, mineral-y aftertaste that doesn't seem to quite mesh with the style. No real citrus, which is surprising, just that pine-y bitterness.
Well, it's pleasant enough. I won't write a ballad about it, but nicely carbonated and quaffable.
