APPEARANCE: Transparent, pleasant orange-copper in color. Head retention and lacing are excellent.
SMELL: Not much, but what is there smells a little hoppier than most English-style pale ales. It smells a lot more like an American Pale Ale.
TASTE: Malty, fruity and sweet up front. Enough hops are added, however, to balance this one out and to provide a pretty decently bitter finish.
MOUTHFEEL: Creamy and smooth without too much sparkle.
OVERALL: This reminds me a lot of Goose Island Honker's Ale. It is an easy drinking, slightly bitter, beer that is widely available.
Serving type: bottle
