Amber colored beer with thin wispy head. Lacing is average.
Aroma is rather fruity, with notes of apple, grape and honey. Slight
Flavor is malt-forward. Sweet syrupy malt flavors are prevalent, with hops providing some spiciness, and a lightly contrasting edge.
Mouthfeel is okay. The beer's body is rather heavy considering the relatively low alcohol present. Finish is semi-dry, but the whole thing seems a bit weighted down, detracting from drinkability.
Overall, a decently balanced beer. Slightly heavy on the palate for my preference; I could see this benefitting from higher attenuation, fewer crystal malts, or both.
