Appearance: Poured a brown amber, hazy, with visible floating sediment. One finger white head with decent retention. Some lacing, but not much.
Smell: Darker caramel and biscuit malts, with an apple cider/dark fruit like hop profile. Some nuttieness as well. Some sweetness in the nose.
Taste: Biscuity/bready darker malts with a nutty smokiness. Some hop citrus and bitterness in the background, but not a primary player in the flavor.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with little bite. Relatively smooth.
Drinkability: A good English pale ale, with a distinctive malt body, with hops as the complimentary flavor. An easy drinker.
