William Pang (Queens, NY) loves this beer.
Pours out the bottle with a very light amber/dark orange color, with a thin head that recedes fairly quickly and a stringy, top to bottom lacing.
Smell is a lot of fruit character with some hops and a lot of malt sweetness, strange for a double IPA.
Taste is very mild. Lots of biscuit/malt flavor, mixed with a very small amount of citrus.
Medium body with a very smooth character and a very nondescript finish.
This is a strange beer in terms of drinkability. A little heavy to drink too much of, but very mild in terms of flavor. Probably wouldn't dare to drink too many in one session.
