Bottle to tulip. Pours a deep copper color with a small creamy looking head on top. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, toffee, a small hint of grassy hops. Flavor follows with mostly caramel malts, very sweet, and very little btiterness. Not much citrus like I like from my IPAs. Slick and sweet mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation. Overall I just don't get this one. Maybe I got an old bottle.

Pours a ruby color with lots of white head and lacing.
Smell is not as strongly hopped as I would like. Tangerine and honey are present. Slight notes of ripe fruit, such as banana, is also present.
Taste has lots of sweet malts up front. Little bit of citrus but not overpowering. Lots of nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. Honey presence throughout.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied.
Overall this was nice. Not my favorite of the style. Lacking a little in the hops, but good.

On tap at Boneyard Bistro in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Pours a clear dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Thick foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, herbal hops, and alcohol. Taste is much the same with a malt finish. There is a fairly high hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty but strong and pretty intense with the hops.

Poured into a Cigar City snifter glass. Nice orange color. Small head with some soapy bubbles. Smells like citrus, hops, and a bit of alcohol coming through. A nice hop kick in the taste, with some citrus and pine. A little bit of alcohol on the finish, but mostly overshadowed by the hops. Good, smooth mouthfeel. Leaves a good aftertaste.
A good DIPA. One of the best I can get here year round.
