22oz. bottle poured into my Duvel tulip.Bottled on 10-9-2009.
A-Pours out an impenetrable, pitch black body that rested beneath 3 fingers worth of dense, dark mocha foam.Serious head retention and thick honeycomb of lacing left on the glass.
S-Initially the wood is very prevelant.Toasty oak and baked vanilla bean followed by semisweet chocolate, medium charred malts and an earthy hop presence that I've come to expect from a Yeti.
T-More big, toasty oak flavors of creamy vanilla and malted milk balls finishing with mild coffee, bittersweet chocolate and more oak.
M-Medium bodied with a creamy feel and moderate bite. This beer has aged well.Super smooth and well developed flavors.
O-My second favorite Yeti variation behind Espresso Oak Aged but still really solid.
