Pours an opague black with a soapy and creamy light brown heading.Left great lacing for a stout and left ringlets all the way down.
I am getting whiffs of coffee before I even put my to to the glass. Espresso beans,Coffee beans.A ridiculous amount of chocolate and nice vanilla oak touches down as well.
Taste and mouth. I can not add anything to what everyone has said. A very heavy roasted tasting with a nice chewy creaminessfrom the start. Interrupted by a prickley bitter hop taste that attacks the tastebuds but is then puhed aside with that vanilla oak warmness of alcohol. All flavors mesh extremely well and makes the body have a nice warm feeling. Perfect for a cold night like tonight.
