Poured into a snifter at cvm4's Yeti sampling
A: blackish-brown with a tan one finger head that leaves its big foot impression for a while. Decent lacing.
S: chocolate, malts, expresso, licorice. Slightly astringent.
T: smooth; expresso, chocolate, burnt, sweet. Goes down easy. The oak aging really makes a difference. I really enjoyed the regular Yeti, but this one is several steps up.
M: medium to heavy, creamy. Strong carbonation.
O: A perfect IRS. Our tasting group agreed this was the best of the bunch in Yeti IRS's. The smooth finish excels. We're not worthy.
Serving type: bottle
