Kept in a nice cool place for about 8 months before I finally had to drink it.
-22oz bottle bought fresh, in the great city this Imperial Stout was brewed, Denver.
A- Beautiful. Full, dark body with a chocolate milk looking brown head. 2 fingers of foam with decent retention. The sticky lacing didn't seem to want to leave.
S- Cocoa, coffee, vanilla and booze.
T- Similar to taste but the coffee dominates in a well matter. Warmness from the alcohol reminds you why its 9.5% abv.
M- Low carbonation, full bodied monster. Ends with a nice oily finish. A sipper to say the least.
O- I'm glad I finally decided to drink this, now I can go out and buy a few more. It's the perfect example of what an Imperial Stout should be! Enough said.
