Thick creamy 2 finger head, good retention, leaves a thin lace as the beer gets consumed, amberish brown in color, more on the red amber side than the brown side though.
Bubble gum like aroma of all things at first, kinda juicy fruit like in aroma, cherry and dark fruit aromas are also present.
Right of the bat the hop character is peasant, not overpowering though, cherry and raisin flavors as well as a molasses like note, the alcohol is there but pretty well masked, the flavors overall are pretty well balanced.
Heavy in body and certainly a sipping beer, it's the kind of beer that a bomber in a night would be enough. That said I'm a happy man with this brew
