This beer doesn't have the hop punch you might expect from a fresh-hopped beer, but does make up for it as an extremely drinkable pale ale, perhaps a little on the malty side, which is fine with me.

A: very clear yellow-amber, carbonation bubbles visible as they sustain the foamy head that leaves significant lacing
S: caramel, honey in the malt, maybe a little grass, but nothing too strong
T/M: carbonated beginning with an orange-honey, mango sweetness on top of a grapefruit-grassy mouth draw. The tastes work well together, neither side overpowering. A well-balanced beer, but one that could use maybe just a little more hop bite.

A- a beautiful golden amber with a creamy white head. Incredible retention and if lacing throughout.

S- a pleasant somewhat mild hop aroma. Hard to detect specific aromas. Some metallic notes on the first few sips.

T- mild just like the aroma. Was expecting more hop flavor for a fresh hop ale.

M- a little thinner but it makes it easier drinking

O-this isn't a bad ale but when compared to other fresh hops ales it comes up a little short. Best by date of 30 December makes me think this bottle is just past its prime. Will have to try it again next year.

A: deep ruddy gold. Head is rocky 2 fingers that dissipates to 2 mm full profile disk. some sparse lacing.

S: Sewery dank grapefruit, bitter citrus, some spicy yeast ester is peeking around the edges.

T: It's very smooth and bitter at the same time. Smelling is same as tasting here. malt is middling malt like caramel but lighter roast. Bitter citrus is yielding to minor piney notes. Complex. resinous on a ephemeral level, very mild.

M: creamy as all get out. carbonation reminds me of nitro carb. bittering hops are very present on final swallow. out breath is spicy hop citrus.

O: it is definitely a big fresh hop ale. Those dusty, dank resinous new hop notes present a nice complex hop brew.

The hops had a sort of muddled freshness that was difficult to say what you were smelling.
I did detect a grape must almost like grape juice.
The beer had a slightly hazy golden color. On the pour I got a tall head that left behind some spotty lacing.
The taste was quite bitter and had a tinny or metallic taste at the finish. In between was some almost nonexistent hops and stale malts.
I bought this about a week from the expiration date which was Dec.30 so freshness was about 99% lost. I'm sure fresh this would be a good beer but not this time.

Poured from a bomber into a shaker pint, the beer is a bright, copper-gold coloring, crystal clear with some carbonation bubbling, and a frothy, cling, off-white head that coats the glass as you drink. Aromas of wet, green hops, with cut grass, pine tassels, a subtle pepper spicing, and resinous bitter notes. Flavors are bitter forward, with a resinous background of pine pitch and subtle caramel notes, with piney, grassy, and subtle citrus highlights of lemon and grapefruit. Very well balanced and flavorful. Smooth bodied, but kept light and crisp with the carbonation. The aftertaste is resinous and bitter, and the caramel rich notes help to balance throughout. Awesome lacing left along the glass. The finish is slightly dry, crisp, and clean. Solid beer, and ridiculously easy to drink.

A - Pours a hazy orange with a white foamy head. Good head retention and quite a bit of lacing.

S - Some pine and wet earthy hops.

T - Hops are right upfront. Good amount of citrus - grapefruit & orange - follows the hops. There is a nice sweet malty backbone. Hops linger in the finish.

M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Nice creamy mouthfeel.

O - Very balanced easy drinking pale ale.
