A: Poured a clear yellow with minimal head.
S: Aroma was faint, of Belgian yeast and a bit of sweetness; faint malt element was present, almost like corn.
T: Taste was slightly yeasty, with an indistinguishable sweetness; not very pleasant.
M: Body was thin with medium carbonation; not crisp as advertised and with a bad aftertaste, almost soapy (soap was not used on glass).
D: Low, based on the unpleasant taste and worse aftertaste. Drinking it reminded me of an American Pale (Adjunct) Lager; a friend I shared my bottle with felt the same way. Quite happy that I split the 12 oz, despite my usual enjoyment of Great Divide products. I generally enjoy Belgian Strong Pale Ales, and in a blind taste test it would have taken me a very long time to identify this as such.

Picked up the Brewers' Picks mainly for this, though I like the Titan and get the Collette pretty regularly. Figure I'll just suffer through the three Denver Pale Ales in there (just kidding, actually looking forward to trying those again, as well).
Poured from a bottle into a goblet, light amber, really no head to speak of, just a thin sheen of small bubbles across the top and a modest collar. Totally clarified, light effervescence.
Smells sweet, yeasty, definitely get that Belgian yeast and some spice. Bottle says noticeable hops, but I'm not noticing it as much as they seem to think I should. A little boozy. Flavor follows suit, with more hops, biscuit and malt presence. Definitely sweet, with a nice boozy edge.
Overall, why did they take away the six packs, again? Seriously, this stuff's really good, worth getting the brewers' picks to try it if you haven't. Recommend if you like their Collette and Orabelle.
