Bottled on April 2, 2010. Classic huge stout looks! Very thin brown head. BLACK and thick looking as it sits in the glass.
Smells of espresso, coffee, and black licorice up front. LOTS of sublties in the smell department. Other smells of dark chocolates, milk chocolate, hot chocolate, alcohol, booze, vanilla beans, and raisons, not to mention many more.
Bitter taste up front, definatly wins over the sweet malts. Bitter aftertaste. Most of the smells are ditto in the taste.
Good mouthfeel, thick , chewy and bitter. Nice brew. A sipper.
