A - Gorgeous pour! That light to dark flowing transition that appears with only the prettiest stouts. Thick billowy mocha colored head over a black ichor. Thick bands of lacing joined by delicate webs. They don't make them prettier than this...
S - Espresso, iron, sweet chocolate malt - makes for a potent mocha aroma... plus... umm, iron.
T - Initially, it tastes of coffee, chocolate and iron. Aftertaste is a lingering coffee bitterness with a bit of a metallic and chicory flavor. The flavor is rather disappointing.
M - Smooth, medium bodied, refreshing.
D - Caffeine AND alcohol! Normally this combination isn't too bad, but I'm really feeling the caffeine in this one. A bomber to be shared for sure. I love Yeti. I love oak-aged Yeti. I've never had Chocolate yeti - but 10:1 I'd love it. This is not my cup o' beer. The flavor is strong, but not always in good ways. The brew is desiccating and it makes it a little much. In a 6 oz snifter this would be alright, but only coming in bombers makes this not worth buying in bottles.
