Enjoyed from the 2 0z bottle in a wide mouth Chimay glass, this fantastic imperial stout pours as black as sin and as thick as used motor oil. With a vigorous pour a HUGE brown head emerges with some light soapy lacing. Nose of bakers chocolate, espresso coffee, DEEPLY roasted grains, and thick rum like barrel aromas. Flavors are up front dark bittersweet chocolate, deep rich black espresso coffee, and dark rich fruits of the sides and back of black plum, raisin, and some oaked aftertaste that seemed hidden in the nose from all the roasted grains and malts. MOST EXCELLENT. Tons of alcohol warmth, tons of rich imperial flavors, just a TON OF A STOUT!

CHEERS!
