Excellent Double Imperial Stout. Found it at Mellow Mushroom in Winston-Salem, NC. Denver always comes through and Great Divide as well. Perfect balance of chocolate deposits and bitterness and the ABV is not over powering at 9.5%. It's one you want to sip on and wish you could bite as it's rich in chocolate flavor. A must do for Stout lovers. Top five for me so far...

22 oz bottle dated December 20, 2010 poured into a snifter

A-Pours black with a nice two finger chestnut colored head that has very good retention and leaves copious amount of sticky lace.

S-As you'd expect huge coffee/espresso aromas abound, some roasted malt, a bit of smoke and oak, chocolate, a bit of booze. Smells very good.

T-Dark roast coffee/espresso leads, hints of chocolate, oak, smoke, black licorice and a bitter hop bite at the back.

M-Full bodied, lush, creamy. Coats the palate well.

D-Dangerously drinkable. I polished this one off quickly. Its was very enjoyable.

This was the last of the Yeti clan for me to try and I think it is now my favorite. Overall, a superb beer from Great Divide.

Glad I have another stored away. I'll have to revisit this one at the end of the year. I'm sure it'll be even better.
