12 oz bottle.

Appearance- Pours a pale straw with half a finger of bubbly white head.

Smell- belgian yeast, clove, citrus, spices

Taste- Same as the aromas. Belgian yeast, clove, citrus and spices.

Mouthfeel- Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes dry.

Overall- A saison that leans towards more savoury then sweet notes. Still enjoyable nonetheless.

S: herbs and flowers with citric high points and fresh grains

M: medium bodied, fuzzy and prickly, crisp and clean-finishing

O: a good saison from a great brewer - worth a try for fans of the style and/or brewery

Poured from a 12 oz bottle (dated 2013/2/7) into a stemmed tulip glass on 2013/6/10

A: Light straw in color pouring to a bit meringue-like head. No lacing to speak of. A bit cloudy but style appropriate.

S: A nice farm nose: grassy and yeast and a bit spicy. Very Belgian! A bit of malt in there.

T: All those typical Belgian notes, yeast, bread/buscuits. Lemon and bit of pepper. A clean dry finish.

M: A light-medium body (surprising for 7.3%); medium-high carbonation.

O: A great, widely available saison! Very clean and fresh, very drinkable!

A - Beautiful cloudy, light straw color with the foamiest meringue white head that started at the middle of my pint glass and create a beautiful crown at the top.

S - bread, cloves, banana, yeast, slight sulphur smell

T -Clove and banana, maybe a hint of tropical fruit.

M - Bright and refreshing with a banana clove aftertaste lingering on the tongue.

O - Overall I enjoyed this ale quite a bit. It's a wonderfully refreshing summer brew that is light and doesn't weigh heavy on the tongue.
