Poured from the bottle into a Goblet
Pours black as night completely blocks out direct light with a nice 2 finger head that lingers well and laces down the glass, and stays around the edge.
Nose is pretty straightforward bready, chocolate, vinilla and coffee. Very sweet smelling overall great malt quality.
Flavor is dominated by rich roasted coco bean flavor with hints of vinilla and coffee in the finish. Oak ageing comes out in the middle with a very dry flavor. Small alcohol presence but nothing that dominates any part of the beer.
Its a tad undercarbonated but I question if it would take away from the complex flavors if it was anymore so than it is. Very rich and complex with a near heavy body.
Easy to drink but something that you actually want to take the time to sip and enjoy.
