Had this a couple times now, It pours an amber red with a slight head that leaves some nice lacing, looks great.
Smell is a little confusing to me, but not unpleasing. I can smell a bit of hops and something I can't quite pinpoint, possibly a bourbon type smell.
Tastes great! It hits you right away with the hops then immediately switches to vanilla and oak. The backend is so smooth it just makes me want to take another sip to get that super hoppy flavor.
The mouthfeel fits the beer. It is a bit of a thicker feeling beer, more syrupy but not uncommon for a dipa. It helps me realize this is tasty but it's still a high abv beer. A fantastic beer that I will continue to look for.
