A: Hazy orange/yellow with a thin white head.
S: Picking up some coriander, Belgian yeast, wheat, and orange. All pretty subtle.
T: If an imperial Wit were to ever exist, this would be one. Tastes like any Wit I've ever had, just more intense. Lots of coriander, orange, lots of yeast, and wheat. Nice malty character as well.
M: Very thick and creamy, almost too much so. This is hard to drink much of, definitely a sipper.
O: This is a very interesting beer that I would gladly drink again. It's more of a Wit then it is a Tripel (though I suppose the two aren't too different), but it's still very tasty.

Appearance - The color of this Belgian style ale was that similar to a shandy, with the brightness toned down a notch or two. The color is was a plus for me. Virtually zero head even with a hard pour 1/2 way through. More bubbles than most beers appeared at the bottom - Overall slightly above average apperance.
Smell - Has the typical smell of a Belgian style ale. Strong and intriguing. Look and smell has a summer style feel so far.
Taste - Upon initial sip, the first thought from my cranium was "ahhhh..refreshing." That surprised me a bit as I expected the normal "bite" and very strong flavor of other Belgian ales. It had a bit of fruitiness which stems from the orange peel, further adding to the summer feel.
Mouthfeel- Refreshing and unexpectedly smooth. Goes down easy my friends.
Overall - Great Divide is one of my go to breweries, if you know what I mean. You at at the store and desire to treat your palette to a new taste. Nothing stands out to you, therefore, you purchase a brew from a maker you have experienced joy with in the past.
This is a good brew. It is not my favorite from Great Divide, but good nonetheless. I would allow my senses to experience it again. It is slightly different than other Belgian style ales, more of a summer feel as I have mentioned but it is not too much different. Drink on your porch at sunset for best results. Until Next Time
