Cloudy golden, with limited carbonation and virtually no lace to speak of.
Nose is fruity and boozy, with definite hints of orange peel citrus and a little spice.
Taste is strong and malty, but well-balanced. The orange comes through well before the double yeasts and coriander add a peppery note. Finishes with a little booziness. Definitely a sipper, but a fine and well-done tripel.

Poured into a Boulevard Smokestack glass at Instant Karma in Joplin, MO
Hazy yellow color, little head. Not the most visually appealing brew I've had.
Aroma is nice, though. Belgian abbey funkiness with a bit of plantain. Of course there are no hops. It's a tripel.
Taste us actually pretty dead on. It has that peppery zing the yeast provides, a bit of the banana from the aroma, and a hidden barely perceptible alcohol. In short, it's a tripel. And a good one. It isn't an abbey brew, but it's a reasonable facsimile.
Mouthfeel is light, yet creamy. Again, pretty dead on.
This isn't an abbey triple, but what outside an abbey is? This is a good triple, and worth seeking.
