Pours translucent yellow, with minimal head and apparent carbonation.
The smell is a nice bouquet of orange and banana flavors, with the coriander hitting the nose throughout. The balance of floral fruit and spice is quite pleasing.

The taste follows the nose quite well in flavors, but a slightly different profile. The spice is prevalent throughout, but the banana is a bigger player than any orange (or tangerine, maybe) in the taste. The end feel has a slight bite of the coriander and an unforeseen hit of carbonation. I am torn a bit if that is good enough.

Overall, I really enjoyed this beer as a Belgian with a slight fruit edge. I did find it quite drinkable, which might be bad at 8.3%.

A nice, somewhat subdued tripel, with hardly any indication of it being a big beer. Not as sweet or sugary as many other tripels--it even tastes a bit dry--but the mouthfeel and creaminess are solid. Also not as spicy, but the flavors are still appealing, with a hint of peppery taste. Cloudy color, with lots of head and decent retention. Very drinkable.

A-Semi cloudy bright yellow, one finger head.

S-Lemon, grass, wheat, a little bit of spice as well.

T-Balance is off, starts with lemon and spices. Some wheat and grass but they do not go together.

M-Light, not much carbonation and a tad watery.

O-A boring, run of the mill tripel that doesn't bring much to the table.

My beer guru brought this one over to split. Much murkier than the normal triple, and the smell and taste reminded me of a saison or a wit. Enjoyed the beer very much, I would consider this a strong saison that is really easy to drink which gives it big bonus points overall because of its ABV and drinkability. Certainly would drink this any day.
