I hadn't been to Great Divide since they expanded the tap room. They certainly did a great job. Now you can sit and have a beer and look directly into the brewhouse through big clean windows. The only gripe I have had with Great Divide now and in the past is that they don't usually have anything unusual on tap. Places like Avery and ODells will generally have things on tap that a unique to the tap room. At GD they generally have all of their production beers on tap, which are delicious, but doesn't give me any impetus to godown there more regularly. That being said I do love their beer as well as the pizza from the wood oven that regularly parks out front. (664 characters)

Love going to the tap room, and you can never beat whatever seasonal Yeti they have on tap. Their selection has gotten better over the years too. The bar is a little small and cramped, and is only standing room, and the adjecent room is also too small, but other than that, it is always a fun place and a cool place to visit. The food trucks in front are usually mediocre, but I don't care a whole lot about food when I visit breweries anyway. (443 characters)

Oh man, what a fun taproom. Excellent vibe, among the best service we ever received at a brewery/brewpub, packed but friendly clientele, and of course an excellent selection (with a good representation of styles, for only 16 taps). Wish the pours were a touch cheaper. Didn't eat anything. (289 characters)

Didn't have food, hope that doesn't skew the overall rating too much, there wasn't a N/A to choose. Anyway, Got their just minutes before they put together a tour followed by a bike streetcar run - hilarious. Loved their Yeti barrel aged on Nitro! Fast, friendly staff with a rockin sense of humor. Overheard one server make an excellent effort to explain wit and wheat beers to someone near me, appreciated his competence. (424 characters)

Great Divide is usually about the first place I go when in Denver. Small taproom, but a huge selection of incredible beers and a great vibe. It is cool to be able to see the working brewery from the taproom. Staff is very friendly; they are total beer experts but don't come off as snobby like those at many similar places do. No food in the taproom, but there is usually a great food truck directly outside. The patio is a great place to hang out and enjoy a beer in the afternoon. I wish I could visit more often. (521 characters)
