Served in a Hill Farmstead wine glass. Shared with Amyliz4. Huge thanks to ChrisPro for giving me this bottle in Blind BIF Round 4.
Pours a slightly-hazy light golden color with a good white head and quite a bit of spotty lacing along with a thin collar around the edges. A touch of foam on top. First whiff makes me think berliner, as there's a touch of acidity and some light grain. As it warms, a bit more grain comes through. Taste is mildly grainy with a fairly-crisp level of bitterness that shines through especially in the finish. Some mild fruit makes its way through as well. As it warms, a bit of herbal funk and dry hay. Body is light with moderate carbonation. Drinks fairly well and I certainly kept coming back for more. I'm really perflexed as to the style.
