on tap at the cambridge, served in pint
Pours a hazy golden with a frothy topping of white head resting on top. Spotty lacing dots the glass while drinking with some filmy retention.
A bit more hoppy than I expected right up front, touches of spicy hops, citrus and toasted grain. Softly malty and a bit sweet, hint of caramel and bread crust.
Snap of hops and citrus peel on the tongue. Toasted grain, bready malts, soft caramel sweetness. A touch bitter with underlying spicy hops, finishing crisp.
Medium body, well carbonated, dry and refreshing on the palate. More aggressive in the hop profile than many other APAs (which I always welcome), as well as refreshing on a 95+ degree day in the city. I'd definitely drink this again.
Serving type: on-tap
