I've been here three times now in the last few months. The beer selection is truly exceptional. It has a nice British pub feel to it. I like the dim mood lighting. It tends to be ridiculously packed, but hey, you can get world class beer on tap there so what do you expect in the heart of the village?
I've have had alternately very friendly and very rude service here. Two of the bartenders here were rude / dismissive to me . I know its a busy stressful place, but when you're serving world class beer , you should treat your customers like world class customers! Anyways, I've had a few very friendly bartenders there too. I have to admit, it does turn me off though to get rude service as much as I appreciate the quality of the beer and the bar in general.
The beer selection is wide and varied, well curated. I like that the stronger ales come in a 12 ounce tulip glass rather than an 8 or 10 ounce like at some other craft beer bars. I've had some really excellent beers here. The food I'm sure is good but I've only had the grilled cheese which is well, grilled cheese, so I'll just give it a 4 as "good". Overall, this is a place I am very likely to stop in if I am int he West Village and in the mood for a fine beer.

Stopped at the Blind Tiger while walking through NYC.
The place was very crowded, even on a Monday afternoon. The place is pretty small, but has a nice cozy feel to it. The tap list was awesome, as expected- got Pretty Things Baby Tree and Green Flash Green Bullet. The bottle list was nice but didn't indulge there. The prices were high, as per most everywhere in NYC. Didn't get a chance to sit and really enjoy the beers, due to how crowded it was, but I could tell if you came at the right time, this place would be beer heaven. Recommended.

Blind Tiger is perfectly situated in the West Village. The vibe/appearance just works for this craft beer spot in the west village, perfect for hanging out with some friends over good beer. They have a great selection and friendly staff, all beer aficionados will be able to find something to enjoy. I went late afternoon during a weekday and it was already pretty packed. Its a small space awkwardly situated inside with not much seating. Overall good experience.
