This was our first stop upon arrival in the city. We couldn't have started our trip in a better way. There was a Cigar City event including the Marshal Zhukov and their collaboration with The Bruery, Dos Costas Ouestes Saisons (aged on lemon wood/grapefruit wood/cedar). I am now extremely jealous that Cigar City doesn't distribute to MA. All the seats were taken but we were invited to sit at a table with another couple so we didn't have to stand. And even though the bar was pretty busy, our bartender made sure to take our orders right away. And upon seeing from my ID that was from out of state she welcomed us to the city and remembered our names when we ordered more drinks. The food came out quickly and was delicious. A good mix of a lot of different people here so I wouldn't think that anyone will feel out of place here. Definitely a destination for anyone visiting, I will certainly spend more time there next trip.

Stopped at the Blind Tiger while walking through NYC.
The place was very crowded, even on a Monday afternoon. The place is pretty small, but has a nice cozy feel to it. The tap list was awesome, as expected- got Pretty Things Baby Tree and Green Flash Green Bullet. The bottle list was nice but didn't indulge there. The prices were high, as per most everywhere in NYC. Didn't get a chance to sit and really enjoy the beers, due to how crowded it was, but I could tell if you came at the right time, this place would be beer heaven. Recommended.

Blind Tiger is perfectly situated in the West Village. The vibe/appearance just works for this craft beer spot in the west village, perfect for hanging out with some friends over good beer. They have a great selection and friendly staff, all beer aficionados will be able to find something to enjoy. I went late afternoon during a weekday and it was already pretty packed. Its a small space awkwardly situated inside with not much seating. Overall good experience.
