The Clover Club is a small place. I have going here since the mid 90's. It has improved in that time. I remember drinking $.35 drafts here in the college years, and I don't remember dining here back then. The large oval bar dominates the main room. On the left are about 8 tables with white table clothes. Classy. It is an old building and features some older decor.
I try to go here in the summer because they due random beer tours for which I receive a free tee shirt upon completion. That is usually when they have the best craft selection. The 12 taps are the who's who of BMC. They had a whole list of craft beers for the summer beer tour, but they are commonly out of several of the selections.
The food is pretty solid. It is mostly standard pub fare. I do like the burger selection. They have a lot of creative options and a build your own option. The service is not always provided with a sense of urgency.
The place is small and fills up quickly. I try to go for lunch or mid afternoon so I can get a seat. It is not a craft beer enthusiasts destination, but it is as close as Tiffin has to offer.

This place may not be the best, but it's the best in this city. Only place that has over 4 taps with them having 12, though 3 go to yuengling, light, and B&T, 4 to BMC, 1 for SA, and 4 rotating seasonals that rotate about every other week pending on movement. Busiest during holidays like most places but relaxed most of the time as the college kids frequent the "clubs." Service has always been great and the food is some of the best the city has. Music can sometimes be loud but talking to the bartender he'll turn it down. This place has grown on me as I've got into craft beer, I used to hate it as it's where the teachers from high school and profs from the colleges are often here, but the more I go back the more I realize it's better than most places around.

Stopped by here when in the area visiting the in-laws. Needed some suds so I drove out to this little pub. Pretty dingy-looking on the inside. Extremely loud music coming out of the jukebox. Some locals hanging out at the bar, quite noisy themselves. The tap list was weak sauce. Not sure if this was better at one time, but by the looks of it presently, this is not a BA-worthy establishment. Of the 11 tap handles, 7 were BMC. The other 4 were Smithwicks, SA Boston Lager, Leinie's Summer, and Labatt Blue. One Irish brew at an Irish pub?! Seriously. They carried some bottles as well, but the only "craft" bottle I really picked out was Great Lakes Dort. That's it. I didn't stay for the food, though it looked good. I'll never know though, as I'll never be back.

not too bad a place for a small college town. decent atmosphere and the crowd - while a lil noisy, hell its a college town, was cool. actually i was more than impressed with the selection. not just the 3 swills in various forms. not by any means a extreme widespread selection, but hey we are in rural Ohia!
the service was very friendly which i was happy with considering the college drunks probably piss them off!
food, well i did not eat there. but i hear some good things. that i will wait till i actually imbibe for meself!
go have a beer.
suckem up and movem out! giblet
