This Beer can grow a bit on you. Taste better as you drink it. Better then a Ranger IPA but close in taste, just a little bit better. The Ranger never got better after the first taste. Another IPA good for a Hot day in Texas but doesn't fit the PNW weather at all. Not for Sailors.

Thick, thick head. Slightly more pale than most IPA'S that I am used to. Smells delicious. The way I believe an IPA should smell. The taste is a wonderfull balance of hops and malts . Neither of which are TOO dominant. Enough hops to make it interesting and bitterly intriguing, and enough malts to make it incredibly drinkable. I normally dont drink bombers very fast but I downed this wonderful craft from the beautiful Mukilteo, WA.
I have been wanting to try this beer for some time now and I am glad I finally did. What an excellent NW style IPA. I cannot wait to experience more from Diamond Knot.

Poured three fingers of head on a clear, medium straw body with lots of bubbles.
The aroma is a wonderful pine and lemon smell, really nice and bright.
The taste has a softer bitterness overall. It is balanced with some honey sweetness.
The texture is a little fizzy with a crisp body.
Quite enjoyable.
