I am not a huge Guinness drinker but during my trip to Ghana, this is what was served to me each evening. The flavor was a little tough to handle the first couple of days but by the end of the trip, I was loving it. Foreign extra offers a stronger taste then your common Guinness. The sweet malty flavors really come alive in your belly and fills you up after a couple bottles. As you can imagine, the color is dark as night.

Huge thanks to SeaBass for bringing this one back from his trip to Africa.

A: Pours a deep dark nutty brownish black hue. Small tan head no retention or lace.

S: Wonderful sweet aromas. Molasses and Sorghum. Very sweet and lactic, almost syrupy in flavor. Hints of chocolate (sweet) with some dark fruit.

T: Wonderful flavor, probably the best variation of Guinness I have had. Loads of sweetness. Molasses and very sweet sorghum. A milky chocolate type quality with some strong dark fruit undertones. Hints of roast to provide a bit of balance to the sweetness. Unique, but good.

M: On the fuller side of medium, average carbonation, almost syrupy on the tongue. Not your typical Guinness.

D: Very good, malty sweet, and yummy. Glad SeaBass brought this one home to share with me!
